Recognizing Excellence: Roberto “Bobby” Alvarez Jr. achieves the prestigious Gawad Sangrihan Award
In June 2023, the JCI Gawad Sanghiran Awards ceremony took place at the Samsung Performing Arts Theatre in Makati City. Organized by JCI Philippines, this event honored individuals across three (3) categories – Gawad Sandiwa, Gawad Sanlahi, and Gawad Sambayanan – who have shown outstanding commitment to their communities and leadership.
JCI Philippines, part of the global Junior Chamber International, is a non-profit organization for enterprising individuals aged 18-40. With over 500,000 members worldwide, JCI promotes professional development, economic opportunities, and creative solutions to societal challenges. The organization is dedicated to developing leaders who can make positive changes locally and globally.
Roberto “Bobby” Alvarez Jr. was among the honorees, recognized in the Gawad Sambayanan category for his dedication to community service and leadership. His achievements highlight the values of JCI, such as positive impact, innovation, sustainability, and nation-building.
Other notable awardees included Henry Sy, Denise Uy, Juan Ponce Enrile, and Juan Edgardo Angara, each celebrated for their contributions to society. This event highlights the importance of community service and the impact of dedicated individuals.
