
Roberto "Bobby" Alvarez Jr. awarded as one of the Most Exemplary Men of the Year for 2024 by the Philippine Cancer Society
At the 21st Best Dressed Awards Ball held on September 20, 2024, at The Shangri-La, The Fort, Bobby Alvarez was honored with the Most Exemplary Man of the Year 2024 award, presented by the Philippine Cancer Society. This event, which brings together elegance and generosity, celebrates individuals who have made a meaningful impact in their respective fields while supporting the cause of cancer awareness.
Bobby Alvarez was recognized for his leadership and contributions, alongside other honorees from across the country. These included individuals such as Rosemarie Bosch, Elsie Pascua, Anna Orlina, Ces Rodriguez, Dr. Liza Quirolgico, Antonette Gutierrez, Michelle Takijima, Ces Miranda, Jill Tan, Dr. Maricar Threadgill, Doyee Tumpalan, and Ina Sarosa. The night also included a recognition ceremony for other awardees and a live auction featuring artwork from Filipino artists such as glass sculptor, Ramon Orlina.
The proceeds from the event, including over Php 3 million raised during the auction, will directly support the Philippine Cancer Society’s programs, including financial aid for cancer patients, further research for cancer control, treatment programs, and awareness campaigns.
Through the support of the attendees and awardees like Bobby Alvarez, the Best Dressed Awards Ball continues to make a positive difference for those affected by cancer, highlighting the important connection between giving and the impact it can have on people’s lives.
